Christmas Eve we headed to Hartsville for the annual Cassidy Christmas Eve get-together that Chris' parents do every year. We figured this may be the last year we'll be able to do it because we want to start our own traditions next year with Ethan. Ethan had a good time and was able to stay up until 9:30 without getting fussy! Hooray! He got lots of goodies:
- He got a Radio Flyer car from Uncle Frankie and Christie that you can push buttons for a radio and turn signals. He LOVES it!
- He also got a shopping cart from Nana and Pa that you can push around and it sings and there's all kinds of buttons to push.
- He also got some money from great Grandma.
- a Baby Einstein set of alphabet books
- two books with buttons to push that teach how to say certain words that go along with the picture
- nesting cups (he loves nesting!)
- a door from Fisher Price that has the outside of a house on one side and the inside on the other with all sorts of buttons to push
FIRST BIRTHDAY
After his afternoon nap, we got a little piece of cake with one candle on it and greeted him with a serenade of Happy Birthday as he awoke from his nap. He was quite surprised and enjoyed the singing! Of course we had to let him have his first taste of chocolate cake, and an Oreo from earlier in the day! Hey - it's your birthday! You're supposed to have whatever you want! I think he enjoyed both of them! What do you think?
