Even though I decided to vote for McCain, I am trusting God in the decision that America has made. God is in charge and so therefore there is no reason to worry. Well, that's what I say and what I pray, but it's natural for us to worry with the way the economy is currently. I am hopeful that things will turn around for the best and not the worst with Obama in the White House. In watching the news and listening to comments on the radio, it seems like we've truly got someone who is going to turn things around. I must say I was very inspired and moved watching Obama's acceptance speech last night (well this morning actually - I just could not keep my eyes open) in the fact that history was just made. How cool is that? It took me a very long time to make a decision about who to vote for. I was actually surprised in myself that I have been so interested in the election this time around. I watched most of the debates, read as much as I could about each of the parties policies and what they were promising, but still had a hard time. I have voted Republican in the past two elections, so therefore I voted for Bush. Obviously, he didn't get the job done like we wished for, but I still voted for who I thought would do the best job with the amount of experience in politics and in war times. Let's pray that this decision is the best for our country and the people of America.
