Sky Top Orchard

Our family has really been taking full advantage of the fall season - and I LOVE IT! Last weekend we took Ethan to a "punky" patch and this weekend we visited an apple orchard. We spent the weekend in Spartanburg to help celebrate both my parent's birthdays. Sunday we, along with my parents and Aunt Liv, took a trip up to Flat Rock, NC to Sky Top Orchard. This was the best orchard I've been to hands down! The weather was perfect - crisp and breezy, but then later warmed up. I had been talking to Ethan about apples and going to the orchard so as soon as we got out of the car, Ethan saw the apples on the ground and immediately was yelling for apples! First we grabbed a cup of hot cider and apple cider doughnuts (which are FABULOUS) and took a hayride around the orchard. Then we walked around the orchard, fed the goats, played on the playground and had an apple tasting. We all had a great time!
